I sit at the small wooden table Basking in the fire's warmth As I eat with my family I mutter a witty statement And sister hits me with her spoon Laughter fills the room I blink and its all gone I sit alone at my apartments counter Eating nothing more than instant ramen and thinking about those days i miss
