We talk but don't want to listen. When we sit here gawking and proud. Kids in our nation hungry and wishing, but no one wants to make a sound? Talking about abortion rights and gay marriage. Who's right and who's wrong. The holiest with all the heritage, when I ask about the truth they hold there tongue. What about the talented kids that were left behind? Tossed away when they didn't fit there mentors mold. Crossed there T's and dotted there I's, Never knowing the potential they hold.
