People often say "Stop and smell the roses!"
But everytime I try, they smell rotten.
Which confuses me, their supposed to smell nice right?
The scent makes me feel so scared, because, is something wrong with me?
Am I broken?
Why can't I smell the roses too?
Every day I try to smell them, catch that sweet, grounding scent.
But it just makes me wanna gag.
I wish I could smell what everyone else does.
I promise I try.
But no matter what,
The roses smell the same.
