Maybe I won’t see you again, Or hear you, or smell the rain That washed through your hair. Maybe I won’t feel the sun That comes after. So I’ll go to sleep With thoughts of you, And keep you Close in my dreams.

Maybe I wont
Maybe I won’t see you again, Or hear you, or smell the rain That washed through your hair. Maybe I won’t feel the sun That comes after. So I’ll go to sleep With thoughts of you, And keep you Close in my dreams.
Sometimes I linger too long in memories. Of you, I’ve waited and waited for answers maybe from God, or something divine just so I can pack my things and move on. I don’t miss you anymore, but every now and then you appear in the shadow of a well-placed cloud on a sunny day, when things feel too heavy. And I linger in the head.
