Dear Sunflower,

"If I was ugly, would you tell me?"

Somber lips reposed

Repressing old thoughts

staring at a neglected plant, who whispered for rain no one could hear

but her

"Yes" , the other girl nodded

who watched the honey bees pass a dying flower

They sat alone

in seperate corners distanced by salt and sea

talking to one another

While one held back the day light

heavy clouds

The other spoke to stars..

Jodi,

I smoked a cigarette for you this morning

I pulled back the filter

I blew the smoke in your direction

and it came to you as fog

it came to tell you,

I miss you .. think of me
