alone

when the loneliness gets to be too much

and I feel like screaming so loud

that people everywhere

would be shocked at the sound

I look at all the couples

strolling around

with interlocked fingers

and interlocked lips

and promise myself

that will be me one day

because no matter how long it takes

someone will have to love me at some point

right?
