why do I overthink my art form?
as if it won’t set me apart from the norm.
there will always be
others that invalidate
what you choose to create;
for how i choose to articulate,
my inner voice,
so it’s my choice, too.
and I can’t let it
impact my mental state.
I must traverse through it
for my art’s sake.

Insecurity and doubt gets the best of everyone, especially in artistic circles.
