As I sit with paper and pen. I sit back and remember when.....
~ When I could hold you in my arms and it felt like you belonged there.
~ When you told me that you loved me, and I didn't just believe it, I felt it.
~ When I ran my fingers through your hair and your eyes closed and smile crept across your face.
~ When I hugged you and your scent wrapped me in softness.
~ When we would ride around town for hours just to be together.
~ When we could cuddle on the couch and feel like nothing else mattered.
~ When I would stand in the card shop for an hour trying to find just the right card to tell you how I feel.
~ When we called you just to hear the others voice.
~ When I would text you just to let you know I was thinking of you, hoping to put a smile on your face.
~ When you were my shoulder to lean on and I yours.
~ When you touched me and the butterflies started dancing..
~ When we didn't care what anyone else thought.
~ When loving each other was enough.
