That Something's Always You (A Parents Love) Each morning when I wake up And start my day anew I think of something that I love And that something's always you I wisper that I love you And kiss you on the cheek Stand there in the moment And think how lucky can I be I watch as you turn over To block the sunlight from your eyes Then pull up the covers Your attempt to try to hide I tell you that it's time to wake You must now begin your day You look at me and smile And all my troubles go away For each morning when I wake And start my day anew I think of something that I love And that something's always you Carl Joseph Roberts
