this smoothness short-lived
when unease finds play..
a once familiar mark
registers differently
our fittings and
complacency disturbed
distressed...
a grasping then
for restoral..
sometimes when darkly
shocked
in disturbed awareness
we are astonished
a minor tweak
resolves into a
path entirely new...
