I am the most profound poet of my time. Words circle round and about my head. The old ones being discarded. The new ones being abused. The greats look from below and smile. Edgar and Sylvia are at my feet applauding with a cheerful presence. I've studied them, carefully, Asked for advice, and as the pen rushes around the paper, In my moment, I know I am the greatest poet of my time.
