I saw you from across the room, perfect strangers, eye-contact, palpitations and trembling knees. You saw me shake and smiled, a reassuring one, not judging, not mocking my silly reaction. Your eyes glow with new universes. Your hair burns with a million candles. Your skin shines like full moons. Your heart beats to a lost symphony. Your soul radiates tranquillity. You became my sweetheart, my darling, my soulmate, meine liebchen. Your eyes close with the coming night and I lay you gently on the bed. I sing a lullaby as you begin to dream, nos da cariad, sleep tight.
