IK-uh-rus
Son of Daedalus
A prominent mythical figure
With waxed wings of feather
Imprisoned within the thick wall
Not a even moment he would stall
The craftsman's genius risked it all
To escape from Labyrinth once and for all
A brilliant gift from a father
That melted his son into the water
Daedalus knew the wax will wither
Never knew his son would be lost forever
Icarus flew too close to the Sun
If he had known he would've run
Plunged into the sea, the burning son
There was nothing he could've done
A father trembled and had no clue
Of what to do, his feelings turned blue
Icarus was dead and that was true
But...
At least he flew
