Who is this figure?
The one who travels the widest land
& wilts each bloom with the touch of his hand
Who is this shadow?
That blends in as if he were a grain of sand amongst the hourglass of man
Where are you from?
Your voice is dim yet you shine like the morning sun
He soon explained
The world slashed his tongue
So now his heart and soul are as black as his lung
I waited, contemplated, then asked how we can live in such a beautiful world yet you still hate it
He exclaimed,
The life we've created has rendered me jaded
So I live isolated
The mental lantern I've lit has slowly faded
Felt like my body & were just degraded, I was working for her, she could've waited, but I guess my point of view, can be debated.
