You couldn’t see hope in your lines Pages would live a hidden life But those are the distant fields that grow Strawberries sweeter than I’ve known How will we choose to live our lives? I’ll keep up hope, you’ll open up your eyes Beached beauty waiting for the tide To bring her to the water where she’ll thrive But now that she’s swimming, something’s gone The fruit could only stay sweet for so long A familiar gaze thats no longer defined I see it when you open up your eyes I’ll leave you now but ill be back in time I’ll keep up hope cause I know you’re in the lines You’re not near but you’re not far I see you in the fields where you still grow Where you still know who you are Trapped in orbit, I’m left to decode
