He anchors me
When my carefree wings take me too high
Tentacle arms surround him
Past my wintery armor he sneaks by
Ever the sunshine skip
In my stormy seas sway
Cradling my heart softly
Intensifying come what may
Blending completely
Edges blurring into one
Always in tandem
A moon for her sun

Past my wintery armor he sneaks by
Ever the sunshine skip

Cradling my heart softly
Intensifying come what may
Blending completely

Always in tandem
A moon for her sun
This poem is for my husband, Jeremiah.
