i want to learn how it feels to love again
softly retreating to kindness
after the wounds multiply-
plaguing me with fresh lacerations
festering to reveal someone
i'd rather keep astray
for their tongue is full of venom
and i'm left with no choice but to retreat
until wrath disappears
to avoid hurting those dear to me
as i can't see them
when my vision is currently clouded...
