Before me I see your beautiful face, Through your eyes wistful pictures to embrace Underneath a few wrinkles to show your age A safe haven for years, yet now a torn-out page Your mouth tells significant stories from back then Every brick a different chapter out of your mighty pen Every single room of your heart represent who you are Without you, it leaves us with a deep wounded scar Generation to generation, standing in the tree's shade, Colours that once was bright, have now fade But through many cracks and crevices, you still stayed The home of love and faith, as we prayed Every time I travel by, I will be thinking of al the memories of the past You were a part of me from my first breath till my last Although I must say goodbye, I also say thank you To a pillar and a monument, I'll love forever

Saying goodbye to a home
