Hawthorne.  A street per chance?  Every city has a section like this.  I liked the last 3 line content the best.  The first 6 do a nice job of describing a feeling about what one person once called 'trust fund marxists'.  I like the concept and wording of 'anarchy patched and retro fitted' very much, and though I've seen 'immaculately disheveled' before, not in poetry, not in beat poetry.

Which makes me also comment that hipsters in the 1950's were the truly hip, including the Beat Poets, whose works were quite amazing in general.  The retro hips have not come in to their own, and your poem gets at that well.
