Insomnia, cannot rest
a nocturnal melody and nightmare dream
that cannot go to sleep.
What causes my sleeplessness?
Why am I suffering restlessness?
Why this wakefulness?
I miss
my regular sleeping hours.
Every night is the same,
open, exhausted eyes,
poorly working mind,
which is ready for everything;
all but
to go to sleep.
Reflections of my fatigue
are the shadows of my eyes
Since I have been afflicted
by insomnia,
discomfort that borders misfortune.
