There were times I tried to speak but found my voice off to Timbuktu and while it was there, it bought me a shirt that read, “My parents went to Timbuktu and all they bought me was this lousy shirt.” And the whole time, I sat silently next to you thinking, but unable to say a word.

From Timbuktu, with love
There were times I tried to speak but found my voice off to Timbuktu and while it was there, it bought me a shirt that read, “My parents went to Timbuktu and all they bought me was this lousy shirt.” And the whole time, I sat silently next to you thinking, but unable to say a word.
Some moments, we wish we said more, or did more.
