I loved waking up to the rain
When the clouds barrel down and cwtch close to the trees
and mist

And over the valley
veins pumping life
Overflowing blood rushing

It’s the kind of weather that pulls you in closer
Holds you in darkened comfort
And stirs you to the deep cells of your body
