Echoes in the hollow
Where roots entwine
Spring's warmth and summer's burst
The refuge hides
Lull gnaws the threads sown with passion
Leaving behind frayed ends
Lost relics whisper
In twilight, shadows reply
In exile, searching for grey
Is the vellum of this flesh and void.
