A Tribute to the Grand Canyon and Her People

The first sight was breath taking The second, a sigh The wind whipped through the air As I watched an eagle fly The first breath was halting The second beautiful The sun was beating down Strong as the hand that made me whole The first dance was intriguing The second caught my heart The music  sped through me With my heart's rhythm beating its part The first sight was breathtaking The last a sigh A thanks in her direction A kiss goodbye
