Outside, there is noise,
problems, people—
too many people.
That's why I go inside,
because in this little world
that I've created
I'm alone, away from
the world.
I can escape the world—
I can be free
by letting everything I keep
inside of me
be free:
letting it go,
in tears or words
because my world
will absorb it
and it won't get tired
of me coming back
escaping one more time.
