In shadows, he lingers, lost and alone, A heart that once beat for me, now a hollow tone. He searches for solace, a love that's gone, A melancholy echo of what we once called home. His eyes, once bright, now dim with tears, A desperate longing, a love that fears. He follows me, with a haunting sigh, A ghost of what we had, a love that's died. I feel his pain, a sorrow so true, But my heart, though it aches, is no longer new. I wish he could see, that I'm gone from the fight, And the love we had, is lost in the dark of night.

To every broken relationship that needs closure.
