Tonight, I meet him by the flame, the devil who whispers my true name. "Which piece of my heart will you claim? Leave me peace just an ember's frame." His eyes gleam, a furnace untamed. "Your peace," he says, "remains unblamed. But remember, child, hearts are a game, and none leave whole, never the same."

A Meeting in Shadows
Tonight, I meet him by the flame, the devil who whispers my true name. "Which piece of my heart will you claim? Leave me peace just an ember's frame." His eyes gleam, a furnace untamed. "Your peace," he says, "remains unblamed. But remember, child, hearts are a game, and none leave whole, never the same."
