Butterflies The slight twinge in your chest when they utter your name The subtle way they shine bringing everyone to shame You’re glances short, sweet and persistent Trying to be subtle trying to resist and Failing miserably ever so happily Being drawn to them ever so hopelessly All the color in the world seems to drain As soon as they walk away They are your light, your beacon Make your knees feel weak and When they look you in the eyes Butterflies.

Earthly Pleasures
Butterflies The slight twinge in your chest when they utter your name The subtle way they shine bringing everyone to shame You’re glances short, sweet and persistent Trying to be subtle trying to resist and Failing miserably ever so happily Being drawn to them ever so hopelessly All the color in the world seems to drain As soon as they walk away They are your light, your beacon Make your knees feel weak and When they look you in the eyes Butterflies.
