between the two of us, we’ve been through everything a kid can talk to me about it - *** love, and smoking guns marry me, let me wear that blue, show me the sun and the moon do your drugs, fill your lungs ill drive you home while the nights still young in this shed, in this life on your bed, in the light in the dark, in the night share my life, if only for tonight take my days, I’ll take yours take my words and wear them out hold our years, live them through if we move on, hold me somewhere keep me on a shelf, say a prayer time will tell, time will spare the details of a teenage friendship that’s been everywhere
