Memories of You

Anger taints

The memories I have of you

And I don’t want that anymore

It’s not your fault I’m left so bitter

All you did was love me

And wait endlessly for me

I’m bitter because life tore us apart

And I was not ready to let you go

If you ever see my words

And wonder what you did wrong,

The answer is nothing

I pray that I find the meaning to life’s ways

And learn the lessons I have to learn

To move on
