Sometimes I look at you

Sometimes I look at you


And see a young, healthy blond boy


An innocent doll, a toy


With vacant little eyes-


An object in disguise

 



Sometimes I look at you


And see a wild thing-


A fervid, regal king


Blazing, strong, insane


Impossible to restrain
