She's a mystery, sci-fi story Beaming her thoughts from Mars She is hiding, a curious heart From all that's lost He's on a journey, to the painting She once drew alone Her smile ain't fair, but he's waiting For the train to board He'll write her a song now‎, her face in the foreground It's pouring with rain but he don't care He'll run through the fields‎, trample flowers that steal The beauty of everything that she has let him bear If for one moment, their pride is unbroken Nature will marvel at the masquerade Disguises have fallen, words are unspoken History repeats itself again
