things unsaid walking through the crowd just trying to get to 2nd block me with my shiny brown hair and crystal green eyes my heart is heavy and my shoulders hang low and through everyone i see you with your surfer blonde hair and baseball tanned skin your heart is heavy and your shoulders hang low too we act like last night didn’t happen we act like we don’t share the same pain the same scars no one would ever know that it’d be us me with all my cheerleader and dance team friends you being the charming baseball golden boy and i wipe the tears from their faces when a boy breaks their heart and you hype them up when your heart is stuck in the dark and all the things we left unsaid write across our faces when we make eye contact so i go back to wiping my own tears as you talk yourself into being okay we both know we’ll never be the same and we were to broken to be together but we’re to broken to be left alone so we self destruct all on our own we sit in algebra our legs bouncing my eyes watering your fist clenching only thing between us is the painful silence until you can’t take it anymore and you call me at 2 am “i’m sorry it just hurts so bad can you please come over” and so i come over and you cry and cry a picture perfect boy breaking in my arms “there were so many things i wanted to tell her” and then i start to cry because i really miss her too our trio turned to a duo to quickly life taken just like that and i think pieces of us died with her
