i met an angel in a back alley once . she held out a cigarette for me to take and offered to take me away. i said no " i love life far too much " she told me to let go to let the world flow over you in shades of teal and shining mauve . as you fade into the floral printed wallpaper , you will become more than you ever have as you are remembered less and . less . the angel said that she got her wings this white with bleach and hydrogen peroxide . her antlers are misfitting " stole them from a dead deer on the side of the road " i asked her why she was here what she had to do what her mission was she folded into the shadows and left .
