I shattered my legs in two Blindly falling for you I thought it would be fine As I knew that you were mine You'd surely mend the bone I'd never be alone Alas the sweet spring scene is gone It faded soon away The piano that once plucked our song Has at once ceased to play Your healing patched my bones askew I never saw it when with you You swept me off my feet Now dear let me retreat You held me in your arms Now let me go

You held me in your arms(now let me go)
I shattered my legs in two Blindly falling for you I thought it would be fine As I knew that you were mine You'd surely mend the bone I'd never be alone Alas the sweet spring scene is gone It faded soon away The piano that once plucked our song Has at once ceased to play Your healing patched my bones askew I never saw it when with you You swept me off my feet Now dear let me retreat You held me in your arms Now let me go
