I was lying on the terrace tonight pretending to watch the stars, but the moon kept staring at me like he already knew everything. After a long silence, he finally laughed. “So… this is what happened to you?” I frowned. “What?” You. He smiled wider. The man who once spoke carefully, thought logically, slept peacefully… now checks her last seen like it’s destiny, reads old chats like holy scriptures, and hears her name in every song.” I threw a pillow toward the moon. He laughed harder. “Don’t act innocent,” he said. “I watch you every night.” “I saw the way your eyes changed when her message arrived.” “I saw you smiling alone like a fool.” “I saw you type a sentence, delete it, rewrite it, then stare at the screen for ten minutes just because you wanted one perfect reply from her.” I stayed quiet. The moon slowly shook his head. “You are deeply finished, my friend.” Then he pointed toward my chest. “And this heart of yours…” He laughed again. “It echoes her name even in silence. Do you even understand how serious this has become?” The wind moved softly around me. The moon continued “You know what makes this funny? You still behave like you are in control.” “But every night, your thoughts walk toward her before your body even falls asleep.” “And every morning, before opening your eyes, your heart checks if she still exists in your world.” I looked at the moon and whispered, “Is it that obvious?” The moon smiled gently this time. “My dear… even the stars know.”
