I have seen those that walk around
with hard apologies of the town
beaten the good ones down
while they look like clowns.
They never mean a thing
they just go around calling people names
making them feel ashame
while they push the game of blame.
They always have words of lies
making excuse for the why's
for abusing their wives...
pushing deeper the knives
deeper into their hearts.
As they go around saying words
to tickle the ears
to all those who want to hear
I love you
I need you
then they hurt you.
I told myself to never give them heart
they will only use
and abuse
I've seen it more than once
and that is no doubt
so I left town.
