Tried to feel the warmth of the fire, It felt familiar for a second, Like I've never known cold. I've lost all my senses, Like I've never been this close. It had me thinking selfish thoughts, Like how do i always keep it warm. Forgetting that cold's around the corner, Watching me being deceived. Each time i start to breath, It knocks me down to my feet. It bleeds me dry, It never lets me sleep. I'll be ****** if i ever see light. How silly of me to forget, That broken souls are cursed for life.

Yearning for life
Tried to feel the warmth of the fire, It felt familiar for a second, Like I've never known cold.
