My eyes cry tears of sadness, I see the picture that's causing the madness. A little boy washed up on shore, His frail little body, his soul so pure. One of many lives that have passed, One of many lives gone far too fast. Such a young boy filled with hopes and dreams, How was he to know what his faith would be? A faith decided by fellow human beings full of hate, anger and greed. A family fleeing for safety and peace. Their search for serenity to be short lived, A life needlessly stripped so quick. I pray his death was not in vein, I pray it awakens the human race, to what the world should be. A world full of love, peace and harmony.

A Soul by the Shore
Dedicated to Aylan Kurdi and his family along with all the other refugee's whom have lost their lives during their search for safety.
