stubborn tears well in the bottom of my eyes not once do they ask if i would like them to fall not once do they tap on my shoulder and say “would you mind if i tip-toed across your unwilling face and ruined the night you thought it was all over” they call me weak day after day at every minor inconvenience they beckon for me to unhook the gates and let them wander sometimes they leave for a while and i forget about their constant harassment but soon their greedy hands grasp on my waterline and stubborn tears well in the bottom of my eyes
