Protect what's healing;
Be the time that's needed.
Act as each other's waterproof shield,
guard what's bleeding under our sleeve.
Cover the wounds until it's time to show off the scars.
One day, I'll show them off with pride.
But until then...
Let's be each others bandaid.
I'll cover your wound and you cover mine.
