Finally after what feels like forever I've been release from my aching tether That kept me prisoner for many years But such a tether came with many tears. I learned who truly loves me And my heart was set free. They showed me mercy and civility That helped me gain futility. Even though they might not understand But because of them I arrived on the sand On the shore of my hope, I now have no fear and no reason to mope.

The Shore
Finally after what feels like forever I've been release from my aching tether That kept me prisoner for many years But such a tether came with many tears. I learned who truly loves me And my heart was set free. They showed me mercy and civility That helped me gain futility. Even though they might not understand But because of them I arrived on the sand On the shore of my hope, I now have no fear and no reason to mope.
