Some nights I feel like a princess awaiting your arrival  I dream about you during the days and meet you in my slumber by night  Surrounded by soft sheets and pillows where your body will soon be again I whisper out loud I love you Can you hear me 300 miles away, My skin smells of flower blossoms or chamomile and lavender  depending on the soap I used washing in the shower.  Your scent is vivid and pure, Safe and mine. When I am with you  I could drink you in I want you to be in my shower I want you to smell my skin Lose yourself as I kiss the nape  of your neck and  find ourselves when  you squeeze me against your chest  I want to feel you I'll lose myself in you when we ever go away For a little longer, I'll stay Up here Looking to you  beyond the sheer sweet linen  And beautiful rain nourishing the ground you stand on Until I can't stand it anymore  I want to get wet and muddy with you Dive off rocks into natural pools Experience the lands with you Till our hearts race from the beauty getting high on life and the world we explore and see Then clean up and lay gently down on the earth With you With your body And not the pillows I play pretend are you Come with me  To rescue me From intangible thoughts of you
