Shāhāh me gentle tender שָׁהָה linger in the rising sun
Belay in us-longer than necessary-laugh-just for fun,
Tarry in me stretch us in out I'm learning your name
We choose to stay remain no pushing different same
Gaze upon your Beauty, Lord, linger in your temple,
It's complicated no rush just stay don't hurry simple,
You don't have to worry--slow with me--stay--delay,
Make it up as you stay, we are, to you, ever in a day,
In a wide awake--we stay to play--in our own world
I pay attention to you, calm, centered in you, curled,
Sometimes the kindest meaning drips, chew the cud
Wallow in the swallow-stillness-let the mud be mud.

There are times, let's face it, when I just want to turn my back on the pain of going, going, always going in it all and just stay ... just one more second ... a moment longer ... wait for the nothingness as we gaze ... consider ... take a breath ... linger ... and then, long, long after that special is gone, wonder, if maybe it will stay with us as we stayed together in it, a perfect, live inside it, song. (shhh)
