Ahogo (English version)

I wanted a taste, until I was a glutton

I wanted to be a mountain, only to end up as a cotton

I wanted a drop, until I was drowning

I wanted to be asleep for fourteen hours, until I'm in the morgue

I wanted a little bit of love, until I was burned to ashes

I wanted a fairytale, but maybe not one written in Ibiza

I wanted to write a little bit of poetry out of tragedy

I wanted a little bit of magic in this world cursed of normal

I wanted to go to the beach, but not to go deep enough to drown

I wanted the idea of romance but not enough for it to **** me.
