God will show me the way,
He is the light.
It's as clear as day,
I leave the night.
He holds my hand,
He lifts me high.
He carries me in the sand,
All I can do is sigh.
The dark nearly won,
It followed me so long.
God said "Ill show you my son",
A promised song.
I caused so much pain,
I can never take back.
I went truly insane,
My mind was cracked.
The pieces dont follow my lead,
The come out in stress.
But God planted his seed,
When life was such a mess.
I hurt many i love,
I failed that test.
God showed me mercy,
When i deserve none.
He said "One day you will see",
"The life I planned foryou my son".
