'Longing' 9-7-2010

Dusk.

A chilling wind.

A cry breaks the silence

Of an empty neighborhood.

Longing bleeds in the air

Hanging like a cloud overhead.

One word is all that is said,

One word that meant...

"Where are you? Come back

Home to me... I miss you.

I'm so Lonely. Where did you

Go? ... "

One word!

A name. No matter which.

Just your someone, gone.

Just your darling one, missing.

Just you.

Lost.

Alone.

Are you scared?

Come back home!

It's chilly outside.

Can't you hear the wind whistling?

Dusk has fallen...

Come back home.
