One more day devoid of you Thought I could live, what a fool My life is full of holes, a void long consumed Wearing your jackets, walking your way All I get is a shadow's embrace The thoughts are nonstop Cropped up A rain-filled downpour, raindrops on snowdrops I miss this love and simplicity Shoved aside by complicity Worn by a glove filled with secrecy My bloodline is benign But I still know that it ends with me
