Zach

Long days spent gazing out the window.

"We'll have plenty of time to talk,

It is basically summer."

If we'd only known then

How short summer is.

The days slipped by.

Words unsaid,

Left with

Pain.

This is the first poem I've written in about a year. Any advice would be much appreciated so I can improve my writing!
