Filtering sunlight leaves glitter fluttering over my face. I am content Wanderer, a lost soul forever in flight. Memories flicker and nostalgia hurts. A hunter, warrior, face covered from the sand, hair flying in the desert winds. Gazing up into the distant stars. I know the one he seeks. I see Orion, our compass. Our reminder that we both lie under the same night sky. The stars our guide, the wind our messenger we trek our solitary paths Hoping to meet again, on the other side, where the birds sing songs of glory.
